DAMIAN DRIVE
— upper yoder township —
Last Stop: Damian Drive · Halloween 2026
Nine rooms,
each a different kind of afraid.
Cornstalks, a reaper, a skeleton breaking out of the ground, and two witches over a cauldron — all of it lit from the road. Up the driveway, past the spiders, into a room where a chair hums and a bulb buzzes, then past a quiet room full of dolls that are watching, and a maze of pallets with something moving behind them. Then the backyard, and the sheets, and the sound of something starting up behind you.
What is in the yard
From the first of October the front of the property is dressed for the road: a harvest corner, a graveyard, a skeleton breaking out of the ground, and two witches over a cauldron. No queue, no tickets, nothing to buy. Look as long as you like.
Two of the scenes carry a projected effect — a pumpkin that appears to sing, and a figure in the graveyard. They run quietly and go off at midnight, including on the event nights.
The path you can walk
Nine rooms, each one a different kind of scary. The walkthrough runs the last weekend of October — Friday and Saturday, dusk until nine — and takes 12–15 minutes door to door.
Three things this page keeps
The Guest Book
A ledger going back to 1902. Everyone who walks the path signs the back of it before they leave — initials, and a line if you want one.
Tonight your initial goes on the page. That is the ritual.
The Gallery
Photographs taken on the night, by the people who were there. The ones worth keeping get added here as the years go on.
The Record
One year at a time — who watched, what the walkthrough was that year, and what the place looked like. The fifth year now.
